faculty show!

I like these pieces of art because there were three of them. I like how they were created as if it were a collage and they were telling som etype of story. No only were they created like a college but they were also ripped and torn in specific places. I would help this artist promote their artwork by promoting the title and the display of the artwork. I also think that displaying the artwork right next to eachother is also very helpful to tell or express the artwork or artists messege.

Corrected Movie Poster!

After a critique I changed the dots after "watch where you step" to just three continuing dots. Also before the critique I had changed the placement of the name Victor Wesmann from between the legs to right below the shoe. Otherwise I was very happy with my results of my poster.

Movie Poster!

The process that I took to create this poster was I looked at all my pictures that I had taken in the past and decided and brainstormed ideas for a move. I made sure that it was the correct 11 x 17 size. I had decided to use the picture that I have taken of my feet. First I sharped my pants and shoes so that you were able to see some detail. They I blurred parts of the background just for effect and so that it was easy to read the actors names. I also enlarged the title so that it was easy to read from far away. I then added the credits and when it was in theater last and bolded them so that you know that they were not together or related. In the credits i added directors, actor, and creators.

Quote

I choose this quote because it went with the theme of my blog page. The theme of my blog page is love and affection. I also like how it related a hug to a boomerang. I choose to enlarge the boomerang because i think it is an important word in the quote and stands out the most. Also i put a wave in the way the words follow each other because it had an appealing look to me.

Movie Poster good/bad

I think that this is a good movie poster because the title is clearly written that is easy to read from close or far away. This movie poster also shows the directors name, who is staring in the movie and who helped produced the movie. Also the movie poster tells you when the movie is coming out to theaters. Another important thing on this poster is what the rating is weather its G, PG, PG-13 or R. It also shows the main characters in the movie. I also think that the dark colors shows that it is a scare yet adventurous movie.

I think that this movie poster is bad because it has a small tittle that is not easy to read. Also it is hard to tell what movie it is and when it will be coming out. It is also missing director and stars names. I think that the picture of the buildings is good though, but doesn't show the character face.

Courtney McCall

I choose this picture because i love the downtown life and how the city never sleeps. I love the structure of the buildings. I love how there is the buildings, river views and sculptures throughout the city. In the city there is always something going on and something to look at. Night or day the city is busy, I would one day like to live in the city. I love the diversity of people that walk in the street and all the business people dressed up. I have visited Olson Advertising and Falon Advertising this last year with my step class. I knew after visiting those places that the graphic design field was for me.
